Streak-free window cleaning, built for the Twin Cities.
FCR Cleaning delivers professional window cleaning across the Twin Cities metro. We serve Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Minnetonka, Edina, Plymouth, Maple Grove, Wayzata, and 25+ additional suburbs — no travel fees in our standard service area.
Our exterior window cleaning uses the Xero Pure water-fed pole system — deionized, ultra-pure water delivered through a soft brush head that reaches high windows from the ground. Our water purification system strips out all iron and minerals before any water ever touches your glass — so your windows dry clear and streak-free. No spots. No soap film. And your windows stay cleaner longer because there's nothing left for new dirt to grip onto.
Minnesota's climate makes residential window washing a necessity — not a luxury. Winter road salt spray coats the glass. Spring brings tree pollen and cottonwood. Summer adds dust, hard water overspray from irrigation, and insect residue. By fall, most homes are due for a full clean before the cold sets in. We recommend 2–3 cleans per year for most homes in the metro.
Interior window cleaning uses an eco-friendly solution that's safe for pets, children, and all surfaces. We squeegee the glass, wipe sills and frames, and leave every room exactly as we found it.

Everything covered, nothing overlooked.
- Exterior glass, frame, and sill cleaned
- Interior glass and sill wiped down

How every window cleaning job works.
Assessment
We walk the property before starting — identifying window types, access points, and any areas needing special attention. P.S. — many clients love that we can give a quick quote right over the phone by answering a few questions. Often that's all it takes.
Pure water wash
Exterior glass is cleaned with the water-fed pole — pure water agitated by a soft brush, then rinsed clean. Interior glass gets an eco-friendly squeegee clean. Screens are removed, scrubbed both sides, and reinstalled.
Detail & inspect
After the main clean we detail frames and sills, then inspect every window in good light. Any issues — damaged seals, cracked caulk, torn screens — are flagged and reported. We leave nothing unfinished.

Window cleaning questions, answered.
Is window washing the same as window cleaning?
Yes — window washing and window cleaning are two names for the same service. Whichever you call it, FCR does the full job: exterior glass with the pure water system, interior glass squeegeed, frames and sills wiped, and screens cleaned as standard.
How often should I have my windows cleaned in Minnesota?
Most Twin Cities homeowners clean 2–3 times per year: spring (after winter road salt and grime), mid-summer, and fall before the cold. If you have kids, dogs, or heavy tree cover, 3–4 times is worth it. Commercial properties and restaurants typically go monthly.
How much does window cleaning cost in the Twin Cities?
Exterior window cleaning starts at $227, and interior service starts as low as $70. The final number depends on window count, stories, and whether you want interior + exterior. We provide a firm quote before any work starts — no surprise charges.
Do you clean interior windows too?
Yes — we offer full interior + exterior packages. You can also book exterior-only. Interior cleaning involves wiping the glass, sills, and frames. We move carefully around furniture and belongings.
What is the pure water filtration system?
We use deionized, ultra-pure water delivered through a water-fed pole system. Pure water has zero dissolved minerals, so it leaves nothing behind when it dries — no spots, no streaks, no soap film. Your windows actually stay cleaner longer because there's no residue for dirt to stick to.
Can you clean windows on a two or three-story home?
Absolutely. Our water-fed pole system reaches up to 60 feet from the ground, so we can clean most residential exteriors without a ladder. For areas that require ladder work, we're fully insured and trained for it.
Do you clean screens?
Screen cleaning is a popular add-on at $3 per screen. We remove screens, scrub both sides — with the Xero Screen Cleaner when they need extra attention — and reinstall. Damaged screens we'll flag so you can decide whether to repair or replace.
Do you remove hard water stains?
Yes — hard water spot removal is one of our specialties, and it's free for Quarterly and Monthly Cleaning Club members. Irrigation overspray and mineral deposits on glass are extremely common on Twin Cities homes, especially south-facing windows near sprinkler heads.
What areas do you serve in the Twin Cities?
We serve 30+ cities across the metro including Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Minnetonka, Edina, Plymouth, Maple Grove, Wayzata, Burnsville, Eagan, Apple Valley, Chanhassen, Minneapolis, St Paul, Richfield, St Louis Park, Shakopee, Prior Lake, and more. If you're within 45 minutes of Excelsior, we likely cover you.
Are you insured?
Yes — FCR Cleaning is fully insured with general liability and workers' comp coverage. You're protected if anything goes wrong on your property. Happy to provide a certificate of insurance on request.
How long does window cleaning take?
Most residential homes take 1.5–3 hours for exterior-only and 3–5 hours for full interior + exterior. We give you a time estimate when you book, and we work efficiently — years of repetition makes a difference.
